Fiber--Not Just for When You're Old & Bound Up

Did you know that FIBER is not only good for your digestive system, but also for your heart? Who knew?
Soluble Fiber lowers LDL (bad) cholesterol and flushes it from your system.
Insoluble Fiber helps move food through your digestive system.

It is recommended that you eat 25 to 30 grams of fiber daily.
Most Americans get only about half of that amount.

Fiber is found in all whole grains, beans, fruits, & vegetables.

FOR EVERY ADDITIONAL 10 GRAMS OF FIBER YOU EAT PER DAY, YOU REDUCE YOUR RISK OF HEART DISEASE-RELATED DEATH BY 17%.

*Oatmeal is said to be one of the BEST sources of fiber. Instant oatmeal works just as great as traditional oatmeal. (And it's easier to make!)
